I have been playing a bit with cheddar cheese and almond flour…and I have got what I wanted!
A delicious cheesy crisp!
When I want to pamper my family with a savory crisp I can always count with this recipe!
It is easy, and can be served as crisps or as a bread substitute for the dinner or with cream soups.
It is around 10 minutes to mix the dough and around another 10 minutes to form the shapes of it.
Stays fresh for 5 days in airtight container.
Here we go with the details:
Ingredients:
2 cup almond flour
1/2 cup coconut flour
2 eggs
1,5 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
8 spoon coconut oil
1/2 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
Preparation:
1. Preheat oven for 380F.
2. Mix all the ingredients well until well incorporated.
3. Put parchment paper to the baking sheet and form flat cookie shapes from the dough. You can form any shapes you like! But try to make them flat what makes them more crunchy after baking. Shred some cheddar cheese on top.
4. Put the baking with the shaped dough pieces to the oven until golden ( for about 15 minutes ).
5. Serve them as crisps or as a bread substitute.

Carb: 87g
Fat: 279g
Sugar (naturally occurring) : 18g
Protein: 106g
( Approximately 6g Carbs for 3 crisps. )
