Ingredients
- 2 large or 3 medium sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup sour cream or heavy cream (For a dairy-free alternative, substitute with coconut or almond milk)
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tbsp Himalayan salt
- A pinch of black pepper
Instructions
- Prep the potatoes: Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into cubes.
- Boil: Place the cubes in a pot and add just enough water to cover them. Bring to a boil.
- Cook: Simmer until the sweet potatoes are fork-tender.
- Season: Stir in the cream (or dairy-free milk), cinnamon, Himalayan salt, pepper, and an additional 1 to 2 cups of water. Let it cook for a few more minutes to combine the flavors.
